Sunshine and Apricots

Luco:

Being back up north does something funny to me. It's as though some odd instinct comes out to never do what is needed, and instead go out on frollicks and fancies and not do a single bit of honest work. I blame the clean air.

I went for a lovely walk up by Thruscross reservoir with my old friend Edd Greenwood.

We got lost along some little tiny path, got muddy in a swamp and broke into Yorkshire Water so I could go get a better look at the dam:

It was Anna's birthday this weekend which could mean only one word...Messy. I had a far better time at this one than last year, no drama this year. No screaming or sexually confused girls :) I can never understand this, it seems only logical that if you find you are sexually attracted to someone, you should give it a go. Who cares the gender? pshhhh. Aaaaaanyway. We went to Masala for dinner,

where JemJem showed us her emotion toward her now ex-boyfriend:

Anyhooo, today I have a competition with a very comical friend of mine, Mr Robert James Alexander. He is an extremely talented ballerina and comedian who is insisting we have a drinking competition to settle a score from a festival a few years ago (at which I burned a hole in his tent teehee). So wish me the best of luck! There should be some hilarious photos on my facebook from it!

Has anybody seen my mummy?

Jelly:

Well howdy there folks! Does anybody know where my mother has been for the past 24 hours?!?!?! She has just walked in through the door as though nothing was wrong with leaving me overnight with her rather needy parents... All they do is beg for my attention! For crying out loud, I have work to get done! e.g:

However, she did bring back a lovely present for me:

And one for herself, which apparently was a present from her friend Lloyd. It appears to be a signed photograph of someone called Dita Von Teese....Lord knows who she is.

Anyway, I had to spend all of my day watching cat TV out of the window. I shouldn't really complain, it was rather good; the magpies did a very entertaining rendition of 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest', and the red kite who circles the house every lunchtime (I swear I'd be able to beat him in a game of fisty cuffs) did a few scenes from Jaws. He did the theme tune fantastically!

Anyway, I'm off to harass mum now for leaving me on my Todd all day. Cute face is ON!

Scratch ya later.

The start of absolute blurb

Luco:

Well, today is the start of my very first blog....not quite sur
e what i've gotten myself into. However, at the moment I am in my hometown, Harrogate.

The sky is blue, the sun is out, and i'm sat indoors trying to get my essay done on 'How Schubert influenced further compositions': *Yawn*. The conservatoire has been a complete change for me, not just academically, but physically, mentally and socially. I have a group of the most fantastic friends in the city, and have just started to become friendly with some people within the institution too!

Jelly travelled up with me again on this visit, she seems pretty settled. She has also become a fantastically new part of my life, bringing me nothing but happiness and giggles. Today I woke up to her dangling from my chest of drawers with her claws stuck in a wicker basket I have ontop it, this subsequently ended with her ripping the basket off and smashing the contents inside onto the floor. Ta Jellyderp!

I really need to stop typing as I have to get ready to go out for dinner with my lovely friend Lloyd Barrett. He's taking me to some new french restaurant in town, and then i'm planning on dragging him to 'ALT:' to go see my sister, Jaye Selway - Golly I am proud of that bird at the moment!!!

Before I finish, I will apologise in advance. I am terrible at remembering to write in things. I have had three journals in my life, all of which are incomplete. Sorry for this! Anyhoo, I'm going to give up on this essay and just bugger off out into the sunshine. What to wear eh?
